They are available in L-, S-, C-, X-, and Ka-band models (previously only offering S- and X- band). Frontier radios are based on the [Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab (APL) Frontier radio](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frontier_Radio).
